March in pictures

Here's some shots from our March adventures. I don't know why I picked March, but I've gotta start somewhere!
Guess who's eating solids? (in a pink Bumbo on top of the table, how embarrassing!)

Love having help with Jack! I love Gideon's face even more!

This is from our last day at the LA Zoo--our passes just expired. We absolutely loved having a zoo membership, our first season pass for anything. There is great value in being able to go to the zoo and not have to see everything in one trip. We've had great experiences with friends, with the animals, with our little family, with the little moments that come with taking it as slow as we want. While we had a great year, we are a little "zoo-ed out" ("why do we ALWAYS have to go to the zoo???" says Jacob), so we'll take a break from passes for while. On our last trip, I stopped taking pictures of the animals and focused on pictures of the kids enjoying themselves. This was Gideon's VERY favorite part: the puddles on the playground.

Allison & Gideon's last day of First 5 preschool. We had a great experience and we all made some good friends during class.

Some projects: this growth chart was started by my Visiting Teachers and was finished by Tom. I only added the bow at the top. We think this will be a fun record for our family over the years.

Jack's room is finally decorated! The guys worked hard to put up a shelf.

This is what it's all about these days: keeping the ever-growing family of stuffed animals happy. I just love stumbling upon these setups, like breakfast time for all the "friends."
