I am finally getting back to my blog. I was meaning to sit down and record our Utah trip, but then I got into these other pictures I meant to post a long time ago. So I guess these will come first.Both sets of our parents came for Gideon's blessing. We had a fantastic time with everyone. Tom's parents were here for the weekend and mine stayed for the rest of the week to hang out with us. Here are some random, FUN events with everyone.
We went to the Noah's Ark exhibit once again at the Skirball. It was so awesome to go again and introduce it to my parents. As we walked out, we wandered into a special exhibit on Bob Dylan. They had this interactive part where you could play drums, guitar or sing. I think Jacob is a natural drummer!! He played non-stop for about 20 minutes. This is an illegal picture--a guard told me immediately after I snapped that no photos were allowed--so I am very proud of it :)
Tom & his dad gave us a WONDERFUL concert on their trumpets.

Initiating our hand-me-down BBQ. We introduced tri-tip to my parents because I swear it's a CA novelty. Very good.One big event of the weekend together was painting our new room with the whole crew. They helped us out a lot!! That'll be a post for another day.
We love our family and are so glad they came to support, work & play with us!!
