So now that we have recovered from our move, plus weekend visitors, I thought I'd throw something on here to indicate that yes, we are still alive... I'll cover the move later.I was so proud of Jacob today. I finished putting Allison down for a nap and found him in the kitchen making his own lunch. He had picked out yogurt and was making the sandwich of his choice--strawberry jam and he randomly picked out coconut to sprinkle on it. (Actually, in our house it's called 'coco' because he knows he's allergic to nuts and wouldn't touch it if it had the word 'nut' in it.) I've read it's a pretty good skill at this age to be able to spread stuff on a sandwich, so I was happy to watch the process for the 1st time. And he ate it so much better than he would have if I had made it. Yeah for a possible new lunch tradition!
